Lecture Series by Eminent Social Scientists:
The ICSSR North Western Regional Centre organises Lectures by Eminent Social Scientists in their own area of specialisation and on themes of current interest. These lectures are largely based on research work done by the eminent scholars on theme of great academic and practical significance and are materially different from popular public lectures. These provide great stimulus and interest to the social science community of the Region.
Training Programmes on Research Methodology & Scholars Meet
The ICSSR North West Regional Centre has been organizing the Training Program on “Research Methodology in Social Sciences” for college teachers and young researchers preferably those who are actively engaged in social science research.
Besides training programmes, the Centre has been arranging informal interactions, discussions between our guest speakers and research students.
The Centre also holds social science research scholars meet of the North Western Region.
Outreach Academic Programmes
The ICSSR North West Regional Centre under its Out Reach Academic Program organizes Special Lectures by Eminent Social Scientists, Seminars and Training Programmes at various Universities in the North Western Region.
